Long
ago, a young sprite named Kajiko tried gathering the sixteen
chosen halfling warriors as foretold in legends to awaken the
sprite princess, and to save her brother Uma. Unfortunately,
half of the sixteen joined Uma's side, and the princess'' power
was weakened. With her remaining strength, the princess put Uma
in a deep sleep and sent the warriors to the future where they
were reborn as humans.
After
several centuries, Uma finally awakens in present time. Kajiko
now must re-gather the sixteen and find the princess to put a
stop to Uma's evil. In her stead, she sends her apprentice,
Cheval.
